Abhirama was involved in supplying upstream equipment to Pertamina, and providing specialized technical training services to the petroleum industry in association with OGCI (Oil and Gas Consultant International Inc.) of Tulsa, USA.

Arief Karnadi founded P.T. Abhitech Matra Indah on May 1990 in Jakarta, Indonesia as an manpower service provider to the Oil and Gas industry. The establishment of Abhitech was solely Karnadi’s decision after 8 years of experience in oil and gas industry as the director of P.T. Abhirama.

Abhitech represented Oryx Energy Company (Dallas, USA) and Saga Petroleum ASA (Norway). After Oryx sold all its assets in Indonesia, Abhitech continued to provide Expatriate Management services for two major oil companies: CNOOC (China National Offshore Oil Company) and Novus Petroleum.

Abhitech began to provide additional services by acting as an agent to international oil & gas software companies such as Jason Geosystems BV (Netherlands) and Integrated Solutions Australasia (Australia). In 2002, Jason Geosystems BV was acquired by Fugro NV which created Fugro-Jason Netherlands BV.

Arief Karnadi was trusted to take over all of PT IIAPCO Services consultants and personnel in Indonesia. As a result PT Oryx Services was established.

A rental division was formed to fulfill the needs of transportation services for our personnel. Due to the rising demand for transportation and need for personnel mobility, PT Abhitrans Matra Indah was established in 2005. Abhitrans currently manage and operate over 300 vehicles for more than 50 corporations in Indonesia.

Abhitech Group further expanded its services by becoming the exclusive agent to DownUnder GeoSolutions (Australia), an innovative, global geosciences company.

Abhitech started a division in seismic consultancy to meet the growing demand of the market. Through many years of experience and expertise, Abhitech will continue to expand its business sectors by maintaining high reputable services it provides for its current and potential clients.

Abhitech successfully diversified its HR management service operations by penetrating the telecommunications, petrochemical, and media industry sectors.
